Sweet western time travel romance short story.
Rayne Jordan isn't a happy woman. She takes a leave of absence from her job and rents a secluded cabin to recoup from her parents' deaths six months before. She has no family left, hates her life and her job. She doesn't even want to think about Christmas and spending it alone.
While out walking in the snow, she decides to make a snow angel. It was always a favorite thing she enjoyed, but when she rolls over in the snow and starts to make the snow angel, she hears a cracking sound and realizes she is on thin ice instead of solid ground. The freezing water tugs at her and she feels herself slipping further into the icy water.
Rayne awakens to find herself safe and sound in bed with a handsome cowboy watching over her, attending to her every need. The only thing is, she isn't in the year 2013 anymore, but 1884.

This was different as it started in 2013 and ended in the 1800's. Rayne needed seclusion to decide what to do as she had lost her job and her parents. She vacationed at a little cabin in Minnesota and while making a snow Angel fell through thin ice. She was rescued by a rancher in the 1800's.When she recovered she liked the long legged friendly cowboy and wanted to stay. He was in a town with no decent single women so he wanted this beauty to stay, too.
It was fanciful but very sweet. I think I might want to go back to electric and running water and not a wood burning kitchen stove. She had a good cook at the ranch to teach her and she was young. Sometimes perhaps people do yearn for slower, more friendly times.

The only thing I disliked is that it ended too fast
She has away of writing that bring you I yo the story so you feel a part of it.
She is one of my favorite writers
I liked the storyline about time travel as it is different than most of these types off romance novels

This is a classic holiday romance you will want to read for Christmas. It is like the Scrooge ends up being reformed by mischievous fallen angel. The epilogue was sweet. True holiday fun.
This was a nice storyline, with no beginning. Only a middle and an ending. They did not have to even do a passage of time, cause it was over when he pulled her out the water. Never mention..

It was a simple, beautiful and short love story. I like this writer a lot. All her stories seem to be short and to the point. I prefer to wish for more than to have stories drag on. I liked the graciousness of the people. They were kind and non-judgmental. They said exactly what they meant. I highly recommend the story.
Cia Leah is one of the best in my opinion. This is the second book I have read of hers that started out one way and ended another. After reading 'Cody's Mail Order Bride', I wanted another one like that and here it is. These are so different than all other books. Very unique and I want MORE like this Cia Leah!!! Please!!
Here is a special short story for you to help you stop and catch your breath. Grab a cup of tea or coffee sit down put your feet up and enjoy this sweet story before you tackle the next job on your list. I really enjoyed this book no sex just a story about happiness and love.
